We are wrapping up our unit. It is time to put their understanding into application. 😊
For the past weeks, the class has been exploring different shelters, how shelters are made and materials used to make shelters sustainable. Now it is the time to apply what they know by making a shelter that can survive heavy rain, strong wind and disastrous earthquake.
The students were given the chance to choose their partners. Together with their partners, they planned their shelters, chose materials to use and assigned responsibilities and built the shelters.
They have completed the shelters this week. Their shelters (outputs) will be tested on Monday, 12th April 2021.
